99 Can return to greatness

And I'm not talking about Manny Ramirez. For the Los Angeles Kings, who have been playing hard, can be in the mist of getting a oldie but goodie back on their side. Wayne Greztky, who just this season has left the Phoenix Coyotes, can possible come back to the Kings. He has a home here and his children go to school here as well. If there is a chance of the Kings bringing him in to talk and bring his winning ways to the table that would only boost the Kings momentum. Here is an article that was posted on the Kings website. I'm still alive

It feels like ages since I have wrote anything, I'm truly sorry, but school is keeping me real busy.. I'm actually in finals week so I have been studying for my last four finals. I think I'm set for Thursday's final, but still have more studying to do in the other three. By Sunday I will be done. I'm just glad that three of them will be done my the end of the weekend so I can have some relaxation. I won't be going to over broad with going out this weekend though just chilling with friends Friday and Sat I have no idea.

This first semester at CSUN was a great one I got to meet some nice people in class and the professors were great! I just hope this continues for the other three or four semester I have left there.

I learned a lot this semester and I glad that I did, I found out some interesting things and will continue since the quest for education is not over. I really don't know when it will be over because I love school for one thing and the other is that I get bored very easily anyway

I'm just glad I finally know what I want to do and am truly focused on what I want to do.
Anyway sports, I have been keeping up with, are my Lakers, and Kings. I am very proud of the Kings and how well they have been doing I really hope they can make the playoffs. The Lakers, now with Gasol back are on a role. Brown is doing an excellent job on the court. The rest of the bench though really needs to start stepping it up!
Well I will have more to sat once school is over and all I have to worry about is work for a couple of weeks till school starts again!

Clippers can't do anything right

The Los Angeles Clippers broadcaster (Ralph Lawler and Michael Smith)were pulled off the air last night and suspended the rest of the game when they repeatedly mispronounced "Iran" for Memphis Grizzlies Hames Haddadi.
FSN was on alert and pulled both Lawler and Smith off the air.
This is the type of thing that hurt broadcasters and when something is on live air you have to be careful guys!
They later apoligized for their remarks

The wait is over

While New Moon finally hit L.A. last night and can I just say it was great! and it suck to the book very well. My mother and I got to the theater at 430 to wait in line. I felt like I was at a Dodger autograph signing LOL it was a very long night. It was amazing to see all the fans out there to support something that they were in love with. Even though some teens were annoying (damn was I like that?) any way I skimmed through the book before we got in just to refresh the memory. I got us some good seats since we were there for so long in the cold.

Don't worry I won't spoil anything I'm just sharing thoughts and how it went last night and how great the movie was. Once the movie came on and we seen the first glimpse of Edward (Robert Pattison) it was real, the long await was over. Even though Jacob (Taylor Lautner) body was HOTTT he still kinda looked funny with the long locks, but once they cut the hair OMG totally hottness!!! =)
I liked that they stayed close to the book it made it better in knowing what was coming next and how everything evolved as well.
I had some moments of weakeness where I thought I might cry, but I held it in! It is a great love story and the action was great too!

Say "Hi" to trees not just hug them!

Wild trees, colorful mushrooms and bloody neck unicorns are just some of the fun art work that Tina Rodas makes in her Hitree studio in Highland Park located on Ave 50.
Rodas left her home in Jacksonville, Fla. and headed west to L.A. "The energy out here was so creative. Many people are making art and have more opportunities here to do what they want." she said.
THE START
In 2007 when she was at home with her young daughter that she decided to sew and try to make something.
Rodas had the sewing machine for awhile, but never really knew what her style was. When she took it out she thought of one subject that she liked, trees.
"I was very determined to make a tree and I did."
Her first art piece was a cypress tree made out of felt and from there she has refined how they look.
In 2008 Rodas stumbled across the Etsy website that allows you to sell products online, while she searching on the Net.
BUISNESS IS BOOMING
While starting her business she already had a name in mind for it. "My daughter was always saying, "Hi" to trees so I thought that would be a great name." And that was the beginning of Hitree.
Once she posted her art pieces, they took off. Within a week she had many people ordering her work.

Rodas had only 15-20 items on her site to sell. "I was still trying to refine my style." Now she has gone up to roughly 50 items. Her work consist of pillows, earrings, key chains, rings, tote bags, hair pins and more.
FINDING HER SPACE
With the growing of her art and business, Rodas needed a new place for her work.
Then she found a room in the Ave 50 Studio for rent in a Arroyo Secco newsletter and moved her work in January of 2009.
At the studio Sonia Romero, who paints, says compared to her work Rodas art is "Great, accessible and it is functional and usable." she said. "People can feel the artwork."
Kathy Gallegos owner of Ave 50 Studio says Rodas art work is "a different art, hers is a craft. and that it how she expresses herself."
One day while talking to each other Gallegos mentioned her leaf collection and then Rodas thought of a new idea of making the leaf earrings. "Her leaf earrings are one of her top selling items" Gallegos said.
Rodas also credits her old sketches that she drew to get new ideas. "The hardest part is trying to make the subject three dimensional."
Rodas has many great ideas ahead. Her goal now is to have a larger scale of her handmade art work so people can see and appreciate her artwork.

Lucky Luc!!

Congrats to former King and now business partner for being inducted into the Hall of Fame yesterday! It was great seeing such a great player and man getting something that he deserves. The Kings have this story about the event. The Los Angeles Times have also recognized his accomplishment.

There is life after baseball

Well at least for me. I love my baseball, but now that my team isn't in the WS I really don't care who wins. Anyway hockey and basketball season is now here! The Kings have gotten on to a good start. You know, this team reminds me a lot of the Dodgers, a very young team trying to find a chemistry with each other. They're really a good young set of players. The first few games they have shown they are comfortable out on the ice.

I was finally able to go to the game Thursday and had some great seats behind the net!

Tuesday was other great night, seeing the Lakers get those GIANT rings! and seeing the banner of their 15 Championships hung at staples center. Nice to see L.A. had that to look forward to after the Dodgers (I guess Angels too) lost. It was hard aching to see them lose las tnight the way they did though, but it is only the secons game.

Next season is in a few months!

Don't worry it is so sad that they had to lose this way. The Dodgers had a great season and once again I had a great time with my friends and my new friends that I met. Our Dodger family is strong and we will all see each other soon.. Last season I thought it would take forever for the season to start but it didn't.

Our Dodgers just didn't seem to have it in them. With all the hard work I guess Philly wanted it more.

Well now it is time for Lakers baby!!!

Stressfull week..

I have been so buys with school it is getting really crazy with the work.. then I am trying to get my schedule done for next semester already! It is moving fast I just have to keep up...One thing is I finally got my Journalism certificate so that gave me a lil more momentum with work!

The Dodger games are the only place I have been going to, so not to bad of an outing I'd say..lol.. The first game against Philly was a frustrating game, but it is over and now we have moved on right? Plus the game on Friday was a great game!

A real pitchers dual if you ask me, but the boys in blue came through, great game boys

Good Luck tomorrow!!!

Game 2 WOW!!!!

Sorry late on the post, but I have had a lot of school work since midterms are coming up every week. With school comes responsibilities and well I had to miss a little bit of the Dodger game yesterday since I had class. I did leave 15 minutes early, but I'm in Northridge and traffic coming back to LA sucks. It took me an hour
but I got there just in time for the fun!! =)..

My uncle Robert met me there and well, I got there to see Dre hit his homerun!!!!
Sitting in the baselines seats was awesome I felt up close and personal with the Dodgers. The game was itching close, and the Dodger once again coming from behind. With two outs in the ninth I was ready to walk out since I knew it was going to take forever to get out of the stadium, but I had to see my hero Loney. What a site to watch, as we all thought Holiday had the out. Wow what a missed catch that was huh?

The crowd went wild, and to see Loney run to second was a great heads up play. Our bench really came through and the unlikely hero is the one who won the game! Mark Loretta a 15 year vet coming up to the plate was ready to help his team!!!!

What a come back boys.. GOOD LUCK tomorrow in St Luis

Ready for round 2!!!

What a WIN by the Boys in Blue!!! Our bullpen really came through last night..thank goodness

My dad and I arrived at the game a little after 4pm. We greeted all our friends and then half my family, that was there, LOL.

The fans were getting into the game from the begining every time there was a 2-strike count they were on their feet. Wolf started off shaky and fans were saying "oh no" after the first the Cards led 1-0, but then big Matt Kemp came up and hit his 2 run-homerun that ignited the crowd!!!

Wolf then settled down but he was taken out in the 4th. The Dodgers held on to win the game 5-3 and now will play an early game today at 3pm

Dodgers Clinch

What a win and FINALLY!!!.. The game was great even though it was cold, what seemed to be a pitchers dual till the 7th innining turned out to be a Dodgers win by 5-0 over the Rockies. Clayten Kershaw out 21 year old left hander kept us in the game with 6 scoreless innings and striking out 10 batters.
Then our boys came in and did what they can with their bats scoring 5 runs.
Me and my friend then went to the box seats and waiting for the last three outs where Broxton got three out for us to win the game. We rushed down to the end of the field and watch out boys getting their NLDS shirts and hats.

They then heading to the locker room where they pop the champagne that had been seating on ice for five games!

Waiting for them to come out to greet the fans was crazy talking to fans and cheering, then they finally made it out.

OMG this was one of the most amazing days of my life, being that close to them after they won a game like this. I was greeted by Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier, Juan Castro, Kershaw, Randy Wolf, and Frank McCourt himself (owner).

Kemp jump up right in front of me I couldn't resist grabbing his legs, then Kershaw came with a bottle of champagne and sprayed me and the other fans. The most sprayed I got though was from Wolf ohhh man I hid my camera as fast as I can and got drenched by him.

All in all great night GOOD LUCK DODGERS the rest of the way I'll be there Wednesday and hopefully Thursday too

Kemp n Ethier article

I found this article very interesting so here is the link to read it..

Andre Ethier, Matt Kemp are Dodgers' dynamic duo..

L.A.'s two young stars have combined for 57 homers and 204 RBIs this season, helping Joe Torre reach playoffs for the 14th straight year. And their best may be yet to come.

His voice cracking, Joe Torre sits behind a plastic glass of champagne Saturday night pronouncing himself "the luckiest guy in the world."

Los Angeles Sparks

Okay so I'm a big fan of sports and yes I love my boys that play, but as a female fan why isn't that I am not concerned about our female sports?

Just today the Los Angeles Sparks made it to the Western Conference finals for the second straight season. Here is a team that has gained recognition on having Lisa Leslie, who has had a great career and now it will be done after this season. Candace Parker who came into the league and has grown to a great player as well. It isn't bad that she has Leslie to look up to as a mentor and teammate.

Have I ever been to a Sparks game? no and I feel kind of bad. Here are women who love the game they play and have succeeded in getting into a such male dominate area. They have broken through so they can give other young girls dreams and goals to become who every they want to be.
They have won two championship already and have made LA other contender in a different professional sport
I have to say thanks to these women and CONGRATS!!
Good Luck the rest of the way

I can't believe...

That the baseball season will be over soon. Just when I was praying for it to come back it is gone =(... Hopefully our Boys in Blue will be in it longer then just two weeks. It was a exciting experience to see them last year in the playoffs the atmosphere at the games was awesome. Unfortunately this playoff series I don't think I'll be making, only because of the money situation, but we will see.

What is starting next though!!!!!???? Lakers baby!! =) The only thing bad about the end of baseball seasson though it that the Lakers and Kings only play so often when with baseball you get it pretty much everday!

and hopefully the LA. Kings will improve this year. I'm hoping they have college nights again so I can make it to those games since there great seats for a great discount!

Home from San Fran

What can I say, but what a great trip I had. The Dodgers took 2-out-of-3 from the Giants and I had a blast for the first time at San Fransisco.

I left to Fresno on Friday late afternoon, which was a crazy drive only because I had never seen so many fields in my life. It only took me about 2 1/2 hours to get there and then it was time to have a little fun. My friend Hilda and I went to the Red Zone and then went to her friends house for a couple of drinks, then it was time to go to sleep.

On the road for Saturday it was fun it actually was raining on the way there it San Fran we actually had many questions about the farming that people do (still need to google that stuff) on their lands. Any who, We finally get into San Fran and going across the Bay Bridge wasn't scary at all only because I couldn't see anything because of the fog that was there. I was upset to say the least bc I wanted to see the bridge. I took a few pictures that I will upload on here later. (I'm at work right now)

We seen the piers and then went to the golden state bridge, which once again I couldn't see because of the fog..grrrr... It was then that this Indian lady cam and put her arm around me to take a picture with me..very hilarious.

Off to the hotel room to get some rest before we headed to AT&T park. Going to the stadium was a mission but nice walk..LOL...There we were with a lot of Dodger fans looking at the guys warm up and I seen my friend Oscar there and the Manny Ramirez wanna be.

I called for Loney twice and he turned and waved and was very nice of him to acknowledge who was calling him. Then it was time for the game!... Where the Dodgers had a great win over the Dodgers and Russell Martin and LONEY hit homeruns.

Sunday unfortunately the Dodgers couldn't get a win over Brad Penny, who had a great game, Martin actaully hit other homerun for the Dodger. Poor Loney got hit by the umpire but he was okay!

The dumbest thing there at the game was these stupid SF girl fans that actually were smoking out during the game. well they got kicked out which was pretty funny and then they left one of there pipes under the seat that was later found by security. LOL

Hello people!

Ok so school and work are beating me in the butt. But this weekend I will be heading to San Fransisco for the Dodger series. I will be there on Saturday and Sunday and I'm very excited! I have never been there before so that's why I'm excited to get there and see the place. I have heard that AT&T is a nice ball park so I guess I'll see when I get there. I'll have pictures and blog about it when I get back!

Dodger game and Fires on Monday

As I had a long day at work I headed to the Dodger game early which was pretty cool. I got my friend down close enough to see the players warm-up and she got Andre Ethiers autograph, unfortunately she was trying to get Matt Kemps autograph but he hasn't been singing for anyone lately. She was happy to be that close though so it worked out.

The Dodgers made it interesting with two homeruns and tying up the game. We had to leave early though because I had school the next day and had to sleep. The game to say the least wasn't great and went extra innings that I was not there for.

As we are driving down the 2 my friend says lets go see some of the fires. Now I live close to the fire burning in Glendale, Pasadena, and La Cresenta and this whole time of burning mountains I have not seen any of it since I haven't been driving that way. I say okay since I am a journalist and up for seeing what is going on. We head to the Foothill and get off there and drive towards the fire it was crazy.

Last year I was in Fullerton during those fires, but I didn't see it during the night, so this was very crazy seeing the actual flames in their bright red orangie color. We headed up to La Cresenta street and seen that the block right before the mountain was evacuated already. We to some footage and pictures there and then headed about 2 blocks down to Pennsylvania Ave where we were right in front of the fire.

Hearing the reaction to the locals who were looking on was sad. One women said that the fire wasn't even burning here this morning it had moved south very fast.
other women notice that there was actual wind, which scared her because that meant the fire can move very quickly anywhere.

The most amazing thing seeing was this one big flame that started to and it was very high. It moved so fast up the hill, I had never seen anything like that before.

My heart goes out to those that are losing their homes and hope this fire ends soon!

School n smoke!

So this week I started school at CSUN..Let me tell you it was crazy my first day, which was Tuesday, very busy for a big school. That is one thing I couldn't get over was being at such a big school now and having to see so many people. I arrived very early so I just read. My first class in mostly all seniors and girls it look like it will be a very interesting class.

Other this is with these budget cuts professors have no control over adding new students to the class. both my classes the professor could bot add it was up to the school if they can and if there is room. It is really hitting a lot of seniors who have just a class or two to graduate.

I had about three hours to kill so I went to the library to read more and then decided to look around even though it was 100 degrees there..lol I seen many booth for singing up for things and many people alone under trees trying to stay cool.

Off to my next class and it seems like it will be a bit challenging just need to take good notes and read a lot!!! I have two more classes tomorrow and hopefully they go ok. The online one was a bit confusing but luckily I'm not the only one that was confused!

Coming home this was the fire that's by Glendale.. I think it's more hot bc of these fires too...

Think Cure and our starting pitcher

The Dodgers kicked off their Think Cure telethon yesterday to raise money for cancer research. It was the second year of the telethon that started around 9am and will last to this weekend. It is great to know how well the organization wants to help in the battle with cancer and trying to find cures for many diseases.

The game even though I didn't get to see a chuck of it was a good one. I did see Wolf hit is double to give the Dodgers the only runs they needed to win the game. OMG and Broxton actually closed the game without giving up any runs!

1pm start today

No more Internet allowed

I'm here at work covering for a friend when one of my bosses ask if I'm on facebook. I tell her no and she said okay thats good because for now on we can't use it here at work. The email was posted that or center was on the top 20 list of misuse for the month of July. The main site used was facebook..lol.. a couple of years ago it was all about mypace, but now that facebook is popular I guess they had to stop that too. I am fortunate that I have only logged on to facebook a few times only in the last three weeks.. I have seen many more on it way before, but never said anything. well now all of us here can't use it. The funny thing is that it has in the listed in the last month that we had 5,840,000 hits on facebook now I think that is a load of *&^% because that would mean in 30 days someone would have logged on 194 times in one day really not possible with hoe many times we are not in the office LOL... oh well luckily I have it on my phone!

What a excited, but sad game

it was a crazy game for the Dodgers and Gaints. I like how Vin says that the rivalry between the clubs isn't how it use to be back in the day. He said he felt safer for everyone around the park, no really bad news coming out of the stadium. It was nice to see the Dodgers come out 2-out-of-3 in the series, but today with one of the greatest pitcher (Tim Lincecum) in the league starting for the Giants it looked like the Dodgers wouldn't prevail.
The 5th was a crazy inning first when a run for the Giants came through home plate and dropping Martin to the ground..then Sandoval coming up to the plate with McDonald pitcher for the Dodgers, almost hit him and he then tried going after McDonald pointing at him and gesturing to him.. Martin got crazy defending his pitcher going after Sandoval for doing that to his pitcher so the benches cleared and when everything was cleared it was okay.
The Dodgers almost came back in the 9th when Ethier hit a single that brought in Furcal...
The Dodger bullpin though blew it again when Mota gave up a two run homerun in the 10th inning.
now the Dodgers head to Arizona.. GOOD LUCK guys!!

Dodgers WIN Clinic

This year I attended the WIN clinic by myself, but not to worry I had a friend that showed up and was in my same group. I arrived at the stadium around 845 and got checked in. I slapped on the sun screen and was ready to go warm-up.
I was introduced to a women, Judy, that was at last years event and since she came with two other friends she had no one to warm-up with so we gladly partnered up. Around 930 Charles Stienberg called everyone around to introduce Tommy Lasorda and the rest of the participants for the event. Tommy of course said a few words and Dodgers Scott Elbert, who was suppose to make his first major league start Monday, but later during the game it was announced that Weaver will start, answered a few questions as well. After that we took our group picture and the clinic was on it's way.
The event went smoothly as me and others noticed that there was less people this year, but it made the transitions at each station better. "Sweet" Lou Johnson was hilarious as always and my best performance was at the hitting station. I should have continued to play during my school years, but oh well. Bobby Castillo helped me at the pitchers mound which I didn't try last year because I was to scared.
Elbert went around at each station since Ausmus was not available because he had to start yesterdays game.

With two hours done it was ready to head to the stadium club and eat lunch and wait for Joe Torre, James Loney, Mark Loretta, and Orlando Hudson for Q & A session. My self and my friend Pat got there fast and we were able to get good seats right where the guys would sit and talk to us. The food was good I met to other women there while eating and we were talking about our Dodgers of course.
Then at 1 they introduced Jeanne Zelasko, who talked about her career and the Dodgers WIN, then it was time to hear from Dodgers CEO Jamie McCourt who is an amazing women that has brought this program to the LA community and has shown her care for all fans.

After that it was time for the men to come out. Ausmus was the first to come out and apologize for not being there at the the clinic and how he was sorry for not being able to stay for the Q&A because of an appointment. Joe and the players were next to come out and they answered everyone who had a question and told some funny stories that they have had as as club.
Loney was recently pranked on during the last day of the trading deadline, which was of course funny now, but worried him when it happened.
The were all great and after they were done Loney even stayed for an extra five minutes to take pictures with some fans.

Overall it was a great day, I even met Loney's mom after the event when we were walking out. The Dodger organization put on a great event once again!!

Been in Vegas

Okay so I have been trying to get back o reality since coming back from Vegas Tuesday morning and let me tell you it's been hard LOL. Vegas was pretty fun clubbing late night and sleeping in all afternoon was the way to go.

Now it's back to LA being very tried I missed the craziness at the stadium Tuesday night =( I seen just a few innings but had to crash. Then to wake up and hear about the exciting game that went on that Tuesday night. It was sad though that the Dodgers had to lose last night on Manny's poster night that were pretty much gone before the game even started, luckily I got mine!

on a sad note I hate to see Kurt Rambis go and sing with the Wolves, but hopefully he doesn't and stays with the Lakers

Trades

So today was the day for Major League teams to make their moves before the 1pm deadline. Did the Dodgers make a big one? Nope they did trade for Milwaukee's Vinny Rottino, who is a catcher/first baseman, and sent right-hander Claudio Vargas packing. hmmm a back up catcher is this a sign of maybe Martin being gone soon or just them not being sure about Asmus?
Well in any case I think we still need pitching hopefully Sherrill can do a good job in our bull pin time will tell

Oh and thank goodness for Lamar Odem coming back to the Lakers!! woooo hooo Five in a row I hope so!!!

None sports related

Okay so I have been lagging on writing on my blog, why? seriously I have the time to look up things and give my readers a chance to read my opinion on what is going on, but yet I haven't. This started bugging me this week once I started thinking/getting ready for school.
I'm going to be a journalism major and I haven't been writing since I got out of school this past spring. I guess you can say that I'm scared about stepping into a new place and professors and students looking at me like why is she here, she can't write.
I was doing good when summer begin blogging and getting writing in, but like I said I just haven't felt encourage enough to continue. It only hit me this week because I was looking at the CSUN newspaper staff that just got their editing jobs and wonder how it was easy for me at ELAC being the only one who really liked sports and now I know there is going to be more competition.
I thought I would be able to start on the paper as a writer this semester, but it turns out I have to take and pass a editing/ethics class before I can be on staff for the paper.
Now I know that I will be writing in my Journal classes I'm taking, but I afraid of losing my groove and it's bugging me.
I guess I can only put blame on myself and hope that I will get back to writing and not for get how when the time comes.
I am very excited about starting school though and meeting new people, I know there will be bumps on the way, but hopefully I can pass them!!

Loney's Bowling Fundraiser

Tonight with the Dodgers having an off day, what better way to spend it by helping the community. Loney will be hosting the Dodgers bowling night at Lucky Strike at L. A. Live tonight where him and other players as well as some celebrities will be bowling with kids and adults. The event is in it's 5th year and proceeds will be going to the Dodgers Dream Foundation.

What an exciting night!

Dodger fans were in for a treat last night, but didn't even expected it. Manny Ramirez, who didn't start after a bruised wrist, hit a pinch-hit grand slam in the sixth inning to give the Dodgers a 6-2 lead over the Reds.

I got to the game at 4 and waiting outside was hectic, it kind of felt like opening day. Anyway the stadium was getting packed pretty quickly. So I made my rounds saying my hi and catching up with friends before the game started (I even was face to face with Nick Lache, he smiled at me)!!

I made it to my seats behind home plate with my sister and watched the game unfold like any other game. Then a 2-2 tie in the sixth Loney, Martin, and Kemp were on base. Mark Loretta was ready to pinch-hit for Chad, but once Kemp was walked Torre called back Loretta and brought in Manny to hit.

Everyone went crazy in the stadium and was standing. First pitch Manny sees and it goes out in the left field MANNYWOOD section on his bobble head night! The place went even more crazy!!!!!!!

It was the first Dodger homerun on a bobble head night by the player whose bobble head was given out...

Lets see if Matt Kemp can so the same on his night Aug 19th

Pierre gets standing ovation

Well what a game. Frustrating to say the least seven hits and nothing, no runs. uhhh well it was pretty crazy so many people there Vick the Brick was in the stands talking amongst fans. I got one picture of his back when he was next to me LOL, but I stayed in my seat talking with the friends that all came to see Manny and our Dodgers start the second half.

The cheers for Manny out weighed the boos even though I heard very few and the screams of cheater and druggie were used, but all-in-all fans were there to support the slugger.

The most ovations though came in the 7th inning when Juan Pierre came to the plate to pinch hit. The crowd went crazy. I felt really proud to be there at that point because of how well he did day in and day out for us when Manny was gone.
Good Luck today boys!!

Manny comes home

What do you think the reception will be when Manny gets his name called up to bat??

Well I'll be there tonight at the game and see it all happen. I think there will be more cheers then boos, but we have to give him a little guilt right? After a few boos though it will be over and we will welcome Manny and cheer our Dodgers on!!!!!!! we will be getting ready for the second half and hopefully continue our quest to the playoffs

Welcome Artest

Now that we have Artest on our team we have to be happy. It was a good singing on the Lakers part. Arteset players hard and aggressive. Of course I will miss Ariza he was beginning to be my favorite player, but now he is gone and wish him the best of luck. Now it is time to welcome Artest and I'm sure he wants to win a ring just like our guys did this June. Now we have to sing Odem and every thing will be a okay!

How is Broxton a All-Star?!?!

Can some one please explain this to me... really he always blows these games for the Dodgers especially when Bills pitches. Does he have this hatred toward him or what...
I really feel bad for Bills, how many games is this that Brox has let the game get away from us when Chad pitches... I really think it has been way to many. If I were Bills I would not even be able to talk to the guy after the game. If Brox ends up winning this game, when Bills should have gotten his 10th win of the season, I'm going to be sick.... PLEASE PLEASE Coletti get some damn pitching here in LA!!!!!
