CSUN men's basketball

Here I am, no I haven't forgotten to write, but I have been super busy writing and being sports editor at the Daily Sundial at CSUN.

One of the joys I have of writing and taking photos, is the trips I have been blessed on being a part of. Tomorrow I head to Cal Poly for the CSUN men's basketball game.

The team is in third place and will be competing against the Mustangs, who are in second. The two teams were both sharing second place just a week ago. So I am hoping for a good game tomorrow night.

The Matadors freshmen have been stepping up their game and in a recent trip to Cal State Fullerton the Matadors looked like they were finished after the Titans were leading as much as 14 points, but a second half surge and a 3-pointer by Aqeel Quinn to tie the game 61-61 with about two minutes to play, then Josh Greene, who hit six 3-pointer in the game, hit a game winning three with 24 seconds left.

It was a crazy ending and exciting game, best of all I got a photo of that winning three. =)

On Saturday CSUN lost to No. 1 Long Beach in a game that the Matadors within reach at certain times, but 49er Casper Ware came through for his team and scored a game-high 22 points to give his team the a 79-62 loss.

Well let us see how tomororw goes and if I have time I will post on my mini trip with my sports crew.
