Ok so yesterday Mark Sanchez of USC let the media know that he will be letting him self be eligible for the the NFL draft this coming season. Many might be surprised at this because really who thinks this kid is ready for the NFL. He is coming off one of his best games in the Rose Bowl game, but a lot of the previous games he didn't do to well. As many of you might have read Pete Carroll didn't look to happy about the decision that Sanchez made.
He never sat next to him during the press conference and when speaking after the announcement never sat down, but stood with palms on the table.
we can all see that Carroll doesn't think this is the right decision for his quarterback, who is only a Junior.
This brings up all these start athletes who would per fer to have their pro lives start and stop going to school and finish their degrees. Now I love sports, but really how long can some of these guys last when playing a sports and not have a back up when the sport they love no longer can accommodate them.
I'm not bashing on Sanchez because he is not the only one who has done this. Many of them leave to become great and super stars of today in the public eye. Unfortunately sometimes they can't cut it or suffer a injury that does not allow them to be the same every.
after this happens they become stars of the past or on where are they now. I truly believe many of them need to continue their education so they have their backup plans set if the Pros don't work out for them.

USC vs Penn State
The game is still on and almost half time.. USC just scored other touchdown. Sanchez is on fire right now. He really got ready for this game.
USC ranked 6 while Penn State is 8.
The USC team is in their third straight Rose Bowl..hmmm is this thie only Bowl they are ever geting too? they can't make it to the big bowl?
But if they do win, the Pac 10 has won five Bowls already. AZ, Cal, Oregon and Oregon State has already won.
USC will most likely have 10 players leaving into the NFL draft, which for some reason never hurts them they just pack on new talent.
* other touchdown 31-7
Looks like they are on their way to other Bowl win

Starting once again!
Hello everyone. I am a huge sports fan and I have been able to live experience many exciting events in sprots history. Like many of us who have our likes I have mine in sports. I have made up this blog so I can continue to write on whats going on..mainly on Los Angeles sports, but I love the feed back on other great stories out there related to sports.
First off I am a season ticket holder of the Los Angeles Kings. I don't know how many of you are interested in Hockey, but I love it, it's my first love of sports the fast pace, hitting, skills, and all done one ice.
unfortunalty I have been a fan of a team that has yet to win a Stanley Cup =( in it's almost 50 years of existance. Being at the game last night I couldn't help, but notice the empty crowd. Of course this isn't the first time, but it was sad.
reason 1- of course if the team isn't winning
reason 2- prices of tickets have gone up a lot
I'm sure there are many more but these are what pop up
A crowd that was annouced to be a sell out of over 18 thousand was probably really 14-15, who actaul showed up in their seats.
It really puts purspective on what a neds to be done. reason 2 of the high price tickets is also so they can pay their high pirced players that they want to keep
don't get me wrong the Kings have a great YOUNG team that I hope will be in the playoffs in the coming season. They really need a solid goalie for one thing and of course score more goals!
well I love to hear from you all and get feedback on any sport!!! this was just on my mind from yesterday!
